Moving Head Beam

A moving head beam is a type of moving light fixture that produces sharp, visible beams that cut through the air. These beams are narrow and intense, usually with a beam angle smaller than 3°, making them ideal for creating dynamic and impactful stage effects.

Traditionally, moving head beams used high-intensity discharge lamps (such as MSD bulbs), but LED beam moving heads have become more widely adopted in the market. In 2024, Austagelight developed a new laser-source beam moving head.
